Prof Lam Khee Poh conferred the inaugural iBuildSG Distinguished Fellow award

Professor Lam Khee Poh, Dean of NUS School of Design and Environment, has been awarded the inaugural iBuildSG Distinguished Fellow award by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). It is the highest recognition given to senior built environment leaders.

Distinguished Fellows are recognised for their distinctive track record, the commitment that they have demonstrated to advance the sector, as well as their ability to lead their peers, both at home and abroad.

An early advocate of energy efficiency and sustainability in the building sector, Prof Lam has completed many major research projects and worked on iconic, award-winning green buildings, such as National Library in Singapore, the first building to receive the BCA Green Mark Platinum Award in 2005, and the Center for Sustainable Landscapes at the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh in the US – the first and only building to meet five of the highest green certifications.
