REC collaborates with SERIS in developing solar panel

Singapore’s largest cleantech player, REC, will collaborate with the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) at NUS, in a five-year joint research and development project, to create the next generation of solar panel. They will also jointly screen the most promising solar cell technologies; the first prototypes are expected to be ready for pilot testing in about 12 months.
