Recent problems with China’s knowledge system

Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, noted that the problems facing China’s knowledge system in recent years rose from a mismatch between theory and reality. He opined that it is the responsibility of Chinese scholars to step up to address these problems and “decolonise” themselves.
