Shifting narrative on the rupee demonetisation

Dr Sasidaran Gopalan from the Asia Competitiveness Institute at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS and his co-author opined that the unintended consequences of the demonetisation exercise in India seems to suggest that its main aim was to move towards a digital or cashless society.
