Study: Reasons that cause foreign domestic workers to terminate contracts early – language barriers, lack of welfare and excessive control

A survey to understand the challenges face by foreign domestic workers in Singapore conducted by the Centre for Domestic Employees together with the Chua Thian Poh Community Leadership at NUS found that language barriers, lack of welfare and excessive employer control were among the main reasons that cause the workers to terminate their contracts early.
