The core, loyal and ‘outstanding’ members in the Communist Party of China

Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, opined that there is a need to re-establish a core of leadership within the modern Chinese Community Party, in order to stem the problem of blind loyalty that has led to political oligarchy.
