The 'cultural approach' and China's external anti-terrorism efforts

Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute at NUS, opined that China can used the 'cultural approach' and adopt a macro-diplomatic strategy of engaging moderate elements of the Muslim world to address the problem of Islamic extremism.
