The misguided pursuit to be like North Europe

Assoc Prof Nitin Pangarkar from the Dept of Strategy and Policy at NUS Business School discussed if the Northern European system, which has received much admiration over the last few years, is one worth emulating. He noted that Singapore has been dealt a different set of cards from the Northern European countries, and opined that there is little point in trying to imitate another country with a very different resource base.
