The unfinished business of corporate governance in 2015

Assoc Prof Lawrence Loh, Director of the Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) and Deputy Head of the Dept of Strategy and Policy at the NUS Business School, observed that the year 2015 has been a momentous cornerstone for corporate governance in Singapore but noted that there are still outstanding issues that have to be resolved, especially from the compliance end. He opined that for Singapore to sustain itself as the best place to do business in the world, it needs to be underpinned by a strong foundation of good corporate governance.
