The value of prevention in the war on diabetes

Prof Chia Kee Seng, Dean of Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at NUS, and Dr Benjamin Ng, President of the College of Public Health and Occupational Physicians at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, opined that in the five fronts identified by Minister for Health Mr Gan Kim Yong in the war against diabetes, the major shift towards preventing the onset of diabetes and engaging every stakeholder is particularly refreshing.
