Three things Jokowi could do better to stop the haze and forest fires in Indonesia

Dr Rini Astuti, Research Fellow from the Asia Research Institute at NUS, Zu Dienle Tan, PhD student from the Dept of Geography at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Dr Helena Varkkey from University of Malaya opined that Indonesia’s President Jokowi needs to prioritise the tackling of forest fires to prevent a recurrence and shared three recommendations on what can be done.
