Wang Gungwu: China yet to have substantial influence on Southeast Asia

Prof Wang Gungwu, Chairman of both the Governing Board of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the East Asian Institute at NUS, noted that China's lack of understanding on religion is one reason that limits its influence in Southeast Asia.
