What Asean did right

Assoc Prof Simon Tay from the NUS Faculty of Law discussed Asean’s joint statement on the South China Sea issue and opined that it reached a good compromise in a difficult situation. He added that the approach it took is not a signal of failure, but rather a balance between many different considerations.
