Why China will not fall into the middle-income trap

Prof John Wong, Professorial Fellow at the East Asian Institute at NUS, opined that if the highly industrialised China should still fall into the middle-income trap, it would simply be mind-boggling, implying that no other developing country would henceforth ever make it to a developed economy, which is quite an implausible supposition.
