Why do some children choose unhealthy food when they get older?

Assistant Professor Mary Chong from the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health explained the importance of constantly providing incentives to get kids to eat healthier. She also pointed out that imposing too strict a restriction on less healthy foods can sometimes backfire, as it may increase a child’s desire to consume these foods.
