Why it's so difficult to get a cab

Prof Sumit Agarwal from the NUS Business School; Asst Prof Diao Mi and Assoc Prof Sing Tien Foo from the NUS School of Design and Environment; and Assoc Prof Jessica Pan from the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, shared findings from a study by NUS Business School to better understand cabbies’ driving habits and their motivations. They opined that short of a mindset change, cab drivers and their operators will be in for a rough ride with the emergence of car-sharing services.
