Will China impose a tax to deter yuan speculation?

Assoc Prof Shin Jang-Sup from the Dept of Economics at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, opined that China is equipped with an unrivalled capacity to introduce the Tobin tax, a levy on foreign exchange trades to deter currency speculation.
