Block 71 San Francisco welcomes PM Lee

NUS students, alumni and Singaporean entrepreneurs met with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, on 13 February, during his visit to Block 71 San Francisco, which is managed by NUS Enterprise, in partnership with Singtel Innov8 and Infocomm Investments Pte Ltd.

Speaking to Singaporean entrepreneurs based in the San Francisco Bay Area

Mr Lee, who was accompanied by his wife, Mdm Ho Ching, mingled with about 25 Singaporean entrepreneurs based in the San Francisco Bay Area, among whom were NUS Overseas Colleges alumni Lee Min Xuan, founder of financial literacy platform PlayMoolah; and Ng Ming Yeow, who is working at a US start-up.

Mr Lee and Mdm Ho ended their visit with the traditional yusheng tossing to usher in the Lunar New Year.
