Reducing inequality with early childhood development

Prof Jean Yeung, Director of the Centre for Family and Population Research and Provost Chair Professor from the Dept of Sociology at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences shared about her impending study on the effect a family’s language and economic circumstances have on early childhood development. The Singapore Longitudinal Early Development Study, funded by the Ministry of Education, will help inform parents and policymakers in addressing challenges that prevent children from reaching their full potential.
