A ruling on South China Sea dispute is no cause for gloom

Mr Hao Duy Phan from the NUS Faculty of Law discussed about the South China Sea arbitration between the Philippines and China last October, and opined that contrary to the gloomy predictions, the ruling could present a step forward, incentivising the parties to engage in more productive negotiations.
