$7.6m professorship at NUS to honour Yusof Ishak

The Yusof Ishak Professorship in Social Sciences at NUS was launched with a $7.6 million fund to attract top academic talent. The Professorship aims to boost the teaching and research of multiculturalism. The SG50 Kita Committee raised S$3.8 million for the fund, with the rest coming from matching government grants.
