Assoc Prof Eddie Tong appointed as Fellow of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology
Associate Professor Eddie Tong from the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has been named as a Fellow by the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP), the biggest and most prestigious international organisation for social and personality psychology. The Fellowship recognises SPSP members with longstanding contributions to the field of Personality and Social Psychology.
Assoc Prof Tong’s primary research focuses on emotion, with special interest on appraisal theory of emotion and positive emotions. Earlier this year, he was elected a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science.
