Assoc Prof Praveen Linga receives the SCEJ Outstanding Asian Researcher and Engineer Award

Dean’s Chair Associate Professor Praveen Linga at the NUS Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, has been accorded the 2019 Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ) Outstanding Asian Researcher and Engineer Award. 

The Award is granted to researchers and engineers under the age of 45, who have accomplished outstanding achievements in chemical engineering in Asia. Assoc Prof Linga was recognised for his research accomplishments in the development of gas hydrate technology for seawater desalination and for natural gas storage. He is the first chemical engineering faculty from Singapore to win this award since its inception in 2011.
