Budget 2020: Enhancing SMEs’ survivability in times of crisis

Dr Faizal Yahya, Senior Research Fellow, and Shazly Zain, Research Assistant, both from the Institute of Policy Studies at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS, opined that although Budget 2020 provides for various schemes to ensure the survival of SMEs, more clarity is needed to ensure that these schemes remain effective and part of the overall plan for business transformation.
