Encouraging Malay language usage among youths through songs and concerts

The inaugural week-long Merdu event, organised by the NUS Malay Language Society, sought to encourage the usage of the Malay language among youths through music. It started off with workshops on writing song lyrics, followed by a performance at a carnival and concert.
