NUS Students' University Scholars Club organises first Asian Undergraduate Summit

The NUS Students' University Scholars Club organised the first Asian Undergraduate Summit titled 'Leadership in a Complex World: The Food, Water and Energy Nexus' from 6 to 12 July 2015. The summit brought together industry experts, government agencies and academics and about 100 students from universities in Southeast Asia to discuss issues on resource security and sustainability on a regional scale.

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law, Mr K Shanmugam, discussed Singapore's challenges in finding alternative energy sources and the issue of ASEAN economic integration during a dialogue held at the summit.
