Prof Danny Quah selected as International Economic Association Fellow

Professor Danny Quah, Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, has been named an IEA Fellow for 2023 by the International Economic Association (IEA). Prof Quah, a Li Ka Shing Professor in Economics whose research interests lie in income inequality, economic growth, and international economic relations, is the first Singaporean to receive the prestigious award.

Founded in 1950, IEA aims to promote personal contacts and mutual understanding among economists around the world. The IEA Fellowship is conferred to a select group of economists annually to recognise excellence in research publications and research-driven contributions to popular writing, economics curriculum, and policy work.
