Research: Eating fish and vegetables can reduce risk of age-related cognitive impairment

A study by Duke-NUS Medical School found that eating a diet most similar to a Mediterranean diet that comprises a low intake of animal foods such as red meat, and high intake of white meat such as fish and plant foods such as vegetables, fruits and whole grains was more effective in preventing cognitive impairment among the elderly, than eating a vegetarian diet.
