The "New Go South" policy and the "One Belt, One Road" strategy

Dr Kong Tuan Yuen from the East Asian Institute at NUS noted that both Taiwan’s “New Go South” policy and China’s “One Belt, One Road” strategy are highly political in nature, and opined that in focusing on domestic politics, the two nations may not have paid sufficient attention to the psychology of Southeast Asian nations.
