The resistible rise of antibiotic resistance

Assistant Professor Clarence Tam of the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at NUS discussed the widespread use of antibiotics which has enabled resistant bacteria to thrive. He urged that the use of antibiotics be treated with care and respect, as a finite, precious resource threatened by the global rise in antibiotic resistance.
