NUS and Université de Paris sign MOU to extend strategic partnership

NUS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Université de Paris (UParis) on 15 Dec to facilitate international cooperation and promote research collaborations in academic fields of mutual interest. This includes a framework within which faculty members and researchers from both institutions can collaborate on joint research and projects involving innovation in higher education.

The MOU was signed by NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye and UParis President Professor Christine Clerici during a virtual ceremony. It extends the cooperation between the institutions that began back in 2014 through the Universite Sorbonne Paris Cité (USPC) alliance, which facilitated joint activities such as the co-funding of research proposals and two research conferences held in France and Singapore respectively. This agreement also frames the existing relationship between the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and UParis Faculty of Health in the areas of student exchanges and research/teaching initiatives.
