Asst Prof Yang You wins IEEE TCHPC Early Career Researchers Award

NUS Presidential Young Professor Yang You from the Department of Computer Science has won the IEEE Computer Society Technical Consortium on High Performance Computing (TCHPC) Early Career Researchers Award.

The award recognises individuals who have made outstanding, influential and potentially long-lasting contributions in the field of high-performance computing within five years of receiving their PhD degree.

Asst Prof You, whose research interests include scalable algorithms, parallel computing, distributed systems and machine learning, was recognised for his work on designing accurate, fast and scalable deep learning algorithms on distributed systems.
