Asst Prof Kuldeep Meel honoured with ACP Early Career Researcher Award
NUS Presidential Young Professor Kuldeep Meel from NUS School of Computing has won the 2022 Association for Constraint Programming (ACP) Early Career Researcher Award.
Established in 2021, the award is given to researchers with a scientific track record showing great promise in the research area of constraint programming. Award winners were selected based on the originality, impact, and quality of their research work.
According to the ACP, Asst Prof Meel has made fundamental contributions to the problem of counting and sampling solutions of constraints by combining deep theoretical insights with the development of scalable systems. His research has also resulted in practical application in areas such as neural network verification, power transmission network reliability, and forest fire prediction.
