Asst Prof Andy Tay wins the Victor Rabinowitch Memorial Award

Assistant Professor Andy Tay, Presidential Young Professor from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, has won the Victor Rabinowitch Memorial Symposium’s Award for Young Leaders in International Scientific Cooperation.

Dr Tay is the only Singaporean recipient thus far. The award will enable him to collaborate with an international team of scientists from Asia Pacific to integrate cutting-edge technologies in nanofabrication, biomaterials, and bioinformatics to study and treat cancer metastases.

The Victor Rabinowitch Memorial Award for Young Leaders in International Scientific Cooperation is awarded to three outstanding scientists each year. It recognises and encourages young scientists to facilitate and promote novel and promising frameworks and approaches to international scientific cooperation.
