Asst Prof Shefaly Shorey conferred President’s Award for Nurses

Assistant Professor Shefaly Shorey from the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine has received the President’s Award for Nurses, the highest accolade in Singapore’s nursing profession. The award recognises nurses who have shown sustained outstanding performance and contributions to patient care delivery, education, research and administration.

Asst Prof Shorey is one of seven recipients of the prestigious award this year. Her research is focused on parenting and nursing education, and she is an advocate of perinatal health for women and children in Singapore.
