Prof Dipti Srinivasan accorded the 2022 IEEE PES Wanda Reder Pioneer in Power Award
Professor Dipti Srinivasan, from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the College of Design and Engineering, has been awarded the 2022 IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Wanda Reder Pioneer in Power Award for her “leadership and valuable contributions to the power engineering profession, education and excellent volunteerism”.
The award, which seeks to recognise a deserving female in the field of power engineering, is given to one individual per year for leadership in community and humanitarian activities, and evidence of technical competence through significant engineering achievements. It celebrates the awardee’s efforts, accomplishments and future potential while empowering her to be an inspiration and role model for other women in the industry.
