Innovation Leaders of HIMSS Future50 Class of 2021

Provost’s Chair Professor Dean Ho, Head of NUS Biomedical Engineering and Director of the N.1 Institute for Health and the Institute for Digital Medicine and Dr Adam Chee, Chief of the Smart Health Leadership Centre at Institute of Systems Science, have been listed as Innovation Leaders in the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Inc. (HIMSS) Future50 Class of 2021. HIMSS is a global advisor and thought leader that supports the transformation of the health ecosystem through information and technology.

Prof Ho and Dr Chee are the only two Singaporeans among the new cohort of 50 top global leaders. They will join the HIMSS Future50 Community to work alongside HIMSS and their partners to overcome current and future systemic health challenges by addressing gaps and needs at the local and regional levels.

The Innovation Leaders category recognises leaders who develop innovative solutions by harnessing emerging, disruptive and cutting-edge technology to address healthcare pain points. Other categories include Clinical, Government, Health IT and Patient Leaders.
