Mr Loo Deliang honoured with the EcoFriend Award

Mr Loo Deliang, Head of Sustainability Strategy Unit at the Office of University Campus Infrastructure has received the 15th EcoFriend Award in the Non-Government Organisations & Grassroots Category. 

Selected from over 220 nominees, Deliang is among 12 outstanding individuals recognised for their environmental achievements. Deliang, who is also Vice Chairman of the South West Community Development Council Environment Functional Committee, has been sharing his wealth of experience with youths who are trying to develop green initiatives. He provides mentorship under the South West ECo Fund Plus, and the ZeroWaste Testbed Initiative @ South West which supports youths in the co-creation of innovative zero waste and circular economy solutions for the community.

Launched in 2007, the National Environment Agency’s EcoFriend Awards recognise proactive individuals from the public and private sectors, school teachers and students, non-government organisation (NGO) volunteers and grassroots members who have contributed selflessly and helped to sustain a Clean and Green Singapore.
