Prof Dean Ho honoured with CESASC Achievement Award

Provost’s Chair Professor Dr Dean Ho, Head of NUS Department of Biomedical Engineering, has been accorded the Achievement Award by the Chinese-American Engineers and Scientists Association of Southern California (CESASC). Presented annually, the award recognises innovation from honourees of Asian descent that has led to real-world impact on humanity.

Prof Ho, who is also Director of the N.1 Institute for Health and the Institute for Digital Medicine (WisDM), both at NUS, received the award at the 61st CESASC Annual Convention and Anniversary Celebration Gala held in the United States earlier this month.

“I’m deeply honoured to receive this award, which represents a collective effort from our team, NUS community and Singapore ecosystem, patients and caregivers, to advance practice-changing innovations in healthcare. I’m so thankful for the privilege of working with our colleagues at NUS,” said Prof Ho.
